Day 4

Sighnaghi – Bodbe – Tbilisi 

After the breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we shall start the excursion in the pearl town of the region, Sighnaghi, which was erected by the last King of Georgia Erekle in XVIII century. The city is surrounded by an impressive medieval wall with 23 towers. Today ancient Sighnaghi appears to the eyes of visitors in all its beautiful colors. Buildings of the town look just like decorations of a beautiful theatrical performance. Sighnaghi is an architectural gem of Kakheti region and a mecca of tourism in Georgia. Lunch in Sighnaghi.

Drive towards Bodbe and visit the nunnery of Bodbe, place of piligrimage for Orthodox Georgians & a burial place of St. Nino of Cappadocia. Saint Nino who contributed greatly in the Christianization prosses of Georgia. Later, King Mirian built a temple of St. George to shelter her tomb. After visiting the final resting place of St.Nino, we will head towards Tbilisi International Airport.
