Day 4

Gurjaani – Tsinandali – Telavi – Alaverdi – Gurdjaani

After the breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we will depart towards the residence of a famous Georgian poet, prince Alexander Chavchavadze in Tsinandali. Excursion in the mansion & wine cellar.  Afterwards, we will visit Telavi, which along with Tbilisi, Mtskheta And Kutaisi is one of the oldest town of Georgia. First of all we will visit the winery of “Teliani Valley”.

In the degustation hall wine tasting will be led by the professional enologist and you will be able to taste the several sorts of wine. Afterwards lunch will be served in the same hall. After wine tasting and exploring the city of Telavi, we will drive to Alaverdi village, situated in Alazani valley, 20 km northwest of Telavi.

Here we will visit an outstanding monument of Georgian medieval architecture, the Cathedral of “Ttsminda Giorgi” (Saint George, beginning of 11th century). After visiting the Cathedral, we will return to Gurjaani. Dinner at “Wine House Gurjaani”.
